About Us & Editorial Methodology

Bridging the Quran, authentic Sunnah, and classical Islamic scholarship with modern, respectful AI.

Our Mission

In Islamic tradition, truthful dreams are described as one forty-sixth part of prophecy (Sahih al-Bukhari). Tabirci was created to counter superstitious, unverified internet content by providing a dignified, well-sourced, and spiritually uplifting guide to Islamic dream interpretation.

Classical Scholarly Sources

Every interpretation and AI knowledge guideline on our platform is grounded in the foundational works of classical Islamic dream hermeneutics (*Ta'bir al-Ru'ya*):

  • Ibn Sirin (d. 110 AH / 728 CE): Muntakhab al-Kalam fi Tafsir al-Ahlam. Core symbolic meanings rooted in Quranic linguistic and cultural contexts.
  • Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi (d. 1143 AH / 1731 CE): Ta'tir al-Anam fi Ta'bir al-Manam. The most comprehensive encyclopedic authority on Islamic dream symbolism.
  • Ibn Shahin al-Zahiri (d. 873 AH / 1468 CE): Al-Isharat fi 'Ilm al-'Ibarat. Nuanced distinctions according to time, personal state, and spiritual disposition.
  • Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (r.a.): Spiritual dimensions and wisdom transmitted in early Islamic scholarship.

AI & Editorial Standards

Our AI interpretations are strictly governed:

  • No Superstition or Fortune-Telling: Our models are constrained strictly to authentic Islamic principles and make no claims to the unseen (*Ghayb*).
  • Positive, Hopeful Guidance: Following the prophetic teaching that dreams settle according to how they are interpreted, readings are formulated constructively to inspire prayer, reflection, and good deeds.
  • Editorial Oversight: Guides and symbol definitions are reviewed by the Tabirci Editorial Team.

Disclaimer

Dream interpretations are spiritual reflections and possibilities; they do not constitute religious rulings (fatwa), medical advice, legal counsel, or psychological diagnoses.
