Making dua in a dream: what does it mean in Islam?

Making dua (supplication) in a dream points to the prayer being answered, to abundance and to peace of heart. If you remember the dua you made in the dream, it is interpreted as that wish coming true.

The symbols in your dream

• Making dua: Points to the prayer being answered and gaining blessing and joy.
• Making dua in prostration: Points to the prayer being answered very soon.
• Making dua in fear: Points to what you fear not happening to you; Allah will protect you from it.
• Making dua in a crowd: Points to an event that will make many people happy at once.
• Saying "Amin": Points to the wish in your heart being granted.
• Being unable to finish your dua: Points to not making enough effort for what you want, or asking for something that is not good for you.

In short

A dua dream is one of the most blessed dreams. Allah granting you to pray is a sign that your wish will be accepted. If the dua was made in prostration or in fear, it points to an answer that is near and to protection; if you could not finish it, you need to review your wish and your effort.

Advice

• If your dream was good, thank Allah and share it only with people who love you.
• Repeat the dua you made in your dream when you are awake.
• Along with prayer, increase your effort for what you want.

Allah knows best the truth of dreams.
