Seeing a frog in a dream: what does it mean in Islam?

Seeing a frog in a dream points to troubles that take the joy out of life and to a confused, disordered period. In the Quran, frogs are named among the signs sent to Pharaoh's people that made life hard for them; this is why a frog dream is not counted as a good dream and carries a warning.

The symbols in your dream

• Seeing a frog: Points to worries that wear down daily life and disturb your peace, and to a chaotic period.
• Many frogs: Points to troubles multiplying all at once; the more frogs, the heavier the worry.
• A frog in the house: Points to this disorder being felt at home, within the family.
• Throwing a frog out or chasing it away: Points to removing the trouble from your life through your own effort.

In short

A frog dream tells you to be ready for some matters in the coming days that will upset you and disturb your routine. These troubles do not last; they pass with patience and prayer. If you drove the frog away in your dream, it gives glad tidings that you have the strength to overcome your worries.

Advice

• Seek refuge in Allah from the harm of the dream and do not tell it to anyone; it will not harm you.
• Increase your prayers for forgiveness and give charity as you are able.
• Avoid hasty decisions in the coming days and bring calm order to your affairs.

Allah knows best the truth of dreams.
