Seeing a pit in a dream: what does it mean in Islam?

Seeing a pit in a dream points to people who envy you and are waiting for you to fail. Falling into a pit points to a difficult period, while filling in a pit is interpreted as ending a problem that holds you back.

The symbols in your dream

• Seeing a pit: Points to people who envy you and wait for you to fail.
• Falling into a pit: Points to a difficult period that will last a while.
• Filling in a pit: Points to fully ending a problem that holds you back, such as a debt or an illness.
• A loved one climbing out of a pit: Points to them overcoming an illness or a worry.
• Walking around a pit: Points to staying clear of a trap set for you.

In short

A pit dream reminds you that there may be people who want to trip you up on your way. If you walked past the pit without falling or filled it in, their plan will come to nothing and a problem that wears you down will close for good. If you fell in, you will get out of this period with patience and prayer.

Advice

• Do not tell everyone your plans; protect yourself from envious eyes.
• If you have debts, make a plan and focus on finishing them.
• Make a habit of reciting Surah al-Falaq and Surah an-Nas.

Allah knows best the truth of dreams.
