Seeing an airplane in a dream: what does it mean in Islam?

Seeing an airplane or boarding one in a dream is interpreted in the Islamic tradition of dream interpretation as rising, fast-moving affairs and a long journey. Whether the flight was peaceful or turbulent and where it landed determine the meaning.

The symbols in your dream

• Boarding an airplane: A move into a new period, fast-moving work or a journey.
• A peaceful flight: Reaching your goals easily, rising in position.
• The plane taking off: A project beginning, an awaited step being taken.
• The plane landing safely: A matter ending in goodness.
• A turbulent flight or missing the plane: A delay in an opportunity, or a warning against haste.

Seeing an airplane in a dream: other variations

• Rising up in flight in a dream: Points to your standing growing; the higher you go, the more.
• Landing with a parachute in a dream: Points to reaching your wishes; where you land shows the outcome.
• Packing a suitcase in a dream: Points to a journey.
• The wind carrying you away in a dream: If it lifts you high, it points to a fast rise; if it throws you back, to starting over.
• Flying home from abroad in a dream: Points to returning home.

In short

An airplane dream mostly points to developments speeding up in your life and to your wish to rise. If the flight was peaceful, it points to a period in which you will reach your goals more easily than you expect. If the flight was turbulent, the dream reminds you to plan and be patient.
