Seeing flowers in a dream: what does it mean in Islam?

Seeing flowers in a dream is mostly interpreted in the Islamic tradition of dream interpretation as inner healing, joy and the beginning of a good period. Whether the flowers are fresh or wilted, picked or growing in a garden, determines the meaning.

The symbols in your dream

• Fresh flowers in bloom: Relief of heart, inner healing and happy developments.
• Picking flowers: Receiving a blessing, getting good news.
• Receiving flowers as a gift: Love, being appreciated and a bond of the heart.
• Planting or watering flowers: Something you put effort into becoming beautiful, doing good.
• Wilted flowers: A temporary sadness, or a relationship waiting for attention.

Seeing flowers in a dream: other variations

• Seeing potted flowers in a dream: Points to good days ahead.
• Your hand bleeding while picking a rose in a dream: Points to tension on the way to something good.
• Wearing a crown of flowers in a dream: For a single person, it points to marriage.
• Seeing a rose bush in a dream: Points to matters of the heart and someone who truly loves you.

In short

A flower dream mostly points to a period in which your inner world becomes more beautiful and your fatigue lightens. If the flowers were lively and colourful, it shows that developments that will gladden your heart are approaching. Wilted flowers remind you to take more care of your loved ones and yourself.

Advice

• If your dream was good, thank Allah and share it only with people who love you.
• Bring joy to a friend; a kind word is also a flower.
• If the dream unsettled you, seek refuge in Allah and do not tell it to anyone; it will not harm you.

Allah knows best the truth of dreams.
