Being caught in a dream: what does it mean in Islam?

Being caught in a dream is a warning about failing at something. Escaping and getting away is interpreted as staying clear of the outcome you fear.

The symbols in your dream

• Being caught: Points to not getting the result you want in something you are working on.
• Being caught by enemies: It is a warning of falling behind in a competition or struggle.
• Escaping and getting away: Points to escaping a failure or harm you fear.
• Being released after being caught: Points to something that failed at first coming right later.

In short

A dream of being caught reminds you that you need to prepare better for an exam, interview or struggle ahead. If you escaped or were set free in the dream, you will get through this difficulty. Preparing more and not acting hastily changes the outcome.

Advice

• Prepare more for the tasks ahead and review your plan.
• Do everything you can before leaving the outcome to Allah.
• Seek refuge in Allah from the harm of the dream and do not tell it to anyone.

Allah knows best the truth of dreams.
