Seeing raw meat in a dream: what does it mean in Islam?

Seeing raw meat in a dream is interpreted in two different ways in the Islamic tradition of dream interpretation: in the classical interpretations it is usually seen as pain, hardship or loss, while in some interpretations it has been understood as gain that will come later, or something good that is worth waiting for.

The symbols in your dream

• Seeing raw meat without eating it: Gain whose time has not yet come; waiting and being patient.
• Eating raw meat: Not viewed favourably in the tradition; it may point to a loss in something you own or to fatigue.
• Cooking raw meat: Resolving a hardship, bringing a matter to maturity.
• Bloody raw meat: A reflection of worries and tension.
• A large amount of raw meat: An opportunity that will come later but requires effort.

Seeing raw meat in a dream: other variations

• Seeing raw food in a dream: Points to good things that will come later; patience is needed.
• Buying raw meat from a butcher in a dream: It is a warning of a misfortune; give charity.
• Eating raw dough in a dream: It is a warning of a loss through impatience; do not rush.

In short

A raw meat dream mostly shows situations that have not yet ripened. The dream reminds you not to rush to get the result of something, and that you will see the reward of your effort when its time comes. If the dream troubled you, give a little more attention to your health and to rest.

Advice

• If the dream unsettled you, seek refuge in Allah from the evil of Shaytan and do not tell it to anyone; it will not harm you.
• Give sadaqah; charity keeps hardship away.
• Be patient in your affairs and leave the outcome to Allah.

Allah knows best the truth of dreams.
