Falling into a well in a dream: what does it mean in Islam?

Falling into a well in a dream points to difficult days that will last for a while. This hardship is temporary, though; just as Prophet Yusuf (Joseph) came out of the well and rose to honour, relief comes in the end with patience.

The symbols in your dream

• Falling into a well: Points to a hardship that you will struggle to get out of for a while.
• Climbing out of a well: Points to the hardship ending and relief.
• Someone pulling you out of a well: Points to help from an unexpected place.
• Seeing a well full of water: Points to your needs being met.
• An empty well, or being unable to draw water: Points to a need being delayed; be patient.

In short

Falling into a well is a warning dream: in the coming days you may have to deal with a matter that overwhelms you. This does not last; if you saw yourself climbing out or someone pulling you out, it gives glad tidings of the relief that follows hardship. A well full of water points to your needs being met.

Advice

• Seek refuge in Allah from the harm of the dream and do not tell it to anyone; it will not harm you.
• Increase the prayer of Prophet Yunus and your prayers for forgiveness.
• Do not lose patience in hard days; after every hardship comes ease.

Allah knows best the truth of dreams.
