Being in court in a dream: what does it mean in Islam?

Being in court in a dream is a broad dream; its meaning changes with the judge's attitude, your feelings in the dream and whether you have a real case. If you really have a case, the dream often points to its outcome.

The symbols in your dream

• Seeing a court: Points to a matter on which a decision will be made about you.
• The judge treating you kindly: Points to the case or matter ending in your favour.
• Crying in court: Points to the outcome you fear not coming.
• Receiving a court summons: Points to news that will upset you.
• Seeing your late father in court: Points to an unpaid debt or a right owed, left by your father.

In short

A court dream describes a reckoning or a decision in your life. If the judge was gentle with you or you cried in court, it points to a good outcome. If the dream unsettled you, it reminds you to review your obligations and not to leave anyone's right unpaid.

Advice

• If you owe anyone a right, do not delay settling it with them.
• If you have a case, prepare it well and leave the outcome to Allah.
• Seek refuge in Allah from the harm of the dream and do not tell it to anyone.

Allah knows best the truth of dreams.
